Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT |  Uganda’s business community is set to strengthen its connections and seize new opportunities as Business Network International (BNI) Uganda hosts the BNI Expo, scheduled to take place on May 31 and June 1, 2024, at the UMA Show Grounds in Lugogo.

The Expo is designed to catalyze business growth and innovation, aligning with this year’s theme, “Connecting Businesses, Creating Opportunities.” The event promises to bring together industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals from Europe, Asia, and the rest of Africa, offering a dynamic platform for networking, collaboration, and strategic partnerships.

Diana Ninsiima Kibuuka, the BNI Uganda National Director says the lack of networking and mentorship opportunities is a challenge many Ugandan entrepreneurs grapple with.

“The event is therefore open to business enthusiasts and seasoned businesspersons from all walks of life to link up with other like-minded individuals in various business fields, to learn from the gathering’s presentations and exhibitions,” Ninsiima said.

“This expo will serve as a platform to deepen business connections, exchange knowledge, and spotlight one’s business offerings. It’s an environment where learning, connecting, and showcasing converge, encouraging members and the business community to engage in dialogue and exchange that spurs innovation and professional development,” she added.

The BNI Expo will include an exciting lineup of activities, including targeted networking sessions, expert-led workshops, and a diverse exhibition showcasing the latest trends and services across multiple industries in Uganda.

Before the main event, attendees can also benefit from a series of insightful webinars designed to prepare them for the full experience of the Expo. For instance, Stanbic Bank will have a discourse on how businesses can improve their chances of qualifying for a business loan, especially if they have limited credit history or collateral.
