UPPC to digitize 80% of product offerings by 2026

Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | The Uganda Printing and Publishing Corporation (UPPC) has Thursday unveiled a Five-year strategic plan (2023-2028) in which the chief government printer aims at harnessing the power of technology to enhance their products.

UPP Managing Director Prof. Sudi Nangoli assured that the strategic plan will see 80% of their product offerings digitized by 2026.

“As we navigate an increasingly digital landscape, we will harness the power of technology to enhance our products and services for the convenience of our stakeholders,” he said during the launch held at Essella Hotel, Najjera.

He asserted that the corporation will aim at attracting clients who prioritize sustainability, adding that their priorities in this regard include; sustainable recycling of printing paper, use of eco-friendly Inks, and cartridges recycling.

Prof. Nangoli said that at the heart of this plan lie four strategic pillars, financial Excellence, customer service, operational efficiency and people-centricity each infused with purpose and excellence.

“These pillars are not just are not just abstract concepts, they are the driving forces that will propel us towards realizing our vision,” Prof. Nangoli added.
