MP Kahonda released on bail by Luweero Magistrate court.

 Ruhinda County MP Capt. Donozio Kahonda is released on bail by the Luweero Chief Magistrate Court.

Kampala, Uganda | GODFREY SSALI | Presiding chief magistrate Charles Sserubugga ordered Kahonda to sign a non-cash bond of Sh 500,000 and return to court on September 14, 2017 for trial.

Kahonda was last week retained by prison officers after the High Court granted bail pending appeal.

He has also spent close to two months at Kirinya government prison after being convicted and sentenced to nine months imprisonment by Jinja Chief magistrate Francis Kaggwa, for fradulently obtaining recruitment at the army school in Jinja.

In Luweero, Kahonda faces similar charges of fradulently uttering forged academic documents in the names of Dickson Mutabaazi but this time to obatin recruitment at Ndejje University for a bachelors degree in Guidance and counselling.
