MINISTERS: 28 women out of 80

Museveni cabinet 2016 may
Led by Janet Museveni and Irene Muloni, there are more women in the new cabinet than in the last one.

With Betty Kamya the new minister in charge of Kampala,  Dr. Jane Aceng at health and Betty Amongi in charge of Lands, Housing and Urban Development, the new list of ministers released by President Yoweri Museveni has more women than in the last cabinet. There are 28 out of 80 – 11 full ministers, and 17 state ministers.

The women have increased, from 20 to 28 in this cabinet, led by Janet Museveni, Kamya, Okurut and Muloni.  Eng. Ntege Azuba is new Minister of Works and Transport
Aida Nantaba is back as state minister in charge of ICT.
