THIS WEEK: Express FC boss Nakiwala criticized over state of footballer
Express FC Chairperson, Hon Florence Nakiwala, also Minister of State for Youth and Children has received sharp criticism for stating that Express FC cannot help Vincent Onyebuche, a Nigerian footballer who is in a dire state with a broken and rotting leg, because his contract ran out.
Pictures of Onyebuche’s sorry state were awash in the media with many criticizing Express for abandoning her but fans were outraged when Nakiwala stated that the club had done enough for the footballer while he was on contract. Many on social media called her cold-blooded and promised to pass a vote of no confidence on her.
