U.S. to withdraw from 66 international organizations. Here’s the full list

WASHINGTON, the United States | Xinhua | The United States is to withdraw from 66 international organizations, according to a presidential memorandum signed by U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday.

According to the memorandum, which applies to 31 United Nations (UN) entities and 35 non-UN entities, Trump said the organizations are “contrary to the interests of the United States.” In a separate statement, Secretary of State Marco Rubio called the entities “wasteful, ineffective, or harmful.”

These organizations are mostly related to sectors such as climate, labor, immigration and energy, including a key international agreement to tackle the climate crisis, the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.
