Levixone: Loving God by serving people

What is the trait you most deplore in others?

I cannot stand Christians who judge other Christians. For instance I cannot preach to the already converted. So when I sing in certain places that are related to the secular world and I am judged it disturbs me. I also who hate people who don’t change.

Which living person do you most admire?

It is Jah Cure. He is a Jamaican Reggae musician. He is so much loved in Kingston Jamaica. I also admire him for his simplicity despite his fame and wealth.

What is your greatest extravagance?

It is my foundation-92 Hands. I remember spending the last of my money from my account to buy goods for one of the outreaches we had.

What is your current state of mind?

I am up and down. I’m thinking about lots of things to do. There is so many plans that I have. We are planning to renovate people’s houses for free. I don’t know how we are going to pull it off but I know we must.

What do you consider the most overrated virtue?

Because I am an artiste I will talk about music. I don’t understand why people overrate Nigerian music. I feel it’s a mixture of so much. It has got beats from Congo and yet it’s called Nigerian. I don’t find it very musical and beautiful and yet people can’t stop making noise about it.

On what occasion do you lie?

I would lie to save my mother. I don’t usually tell lies because I hate being lied to myself. But for my mother, I would. She is the only thing I have.

What do you most dislike about your appearance?

(He laughs) I feel perfect. I am created in God’s image. So there isn’t anything I really dislike about my appearance.

Which living person do you most despise?

I despise Christians who judge others. Goodness, I can’t stand them.

What is the quality you most like in a man?

I love a simplistic man. I don’t love complicated men. I don’t understand why anyone would love to be complicated.

What is the quality you most like in a woman?

I love a God fearing and understanding woman.

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?

I love to use this statement. Don’t struggle to be number one always strive to be a winner because there are many numbers before one.

What or who is the greatest love of your life?

My mother is. Oh I love her.

 When and where were you happiest?

The first mission we had as 92 Hands came through and we didn’t have enough money. So I decided to call up someone I least expected to give us money and he asked me to go pick it at his office just like that. That made very happy. I think it is when I was happiest.

Which talent would you most like to have?

Uhhmmmm. Nothing because I can swim, dance, sing, I can play football and basketball, so nothing really.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

I would change my temper. I have a very hot temper.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

Founding 92 Hands to me has been my greatest achievement. It much more remarkable to me than the awards I have won.

If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be?

I would love to come back as Jesus because he lived a very remarkable life. He lived to die and save mankind. I love to act savior too. (He laughs).

Where would you most like to live?

I would love to live in Kingston Jamaica or Brazil. There is more than one reason as to why I would love to live there. One of them being the lifestyle of the people that live there. I believe they are very free spirits.

What is your most treasured possession?

My mother is the best thing I have in life. I don’t attribute so much importance to material possessions.

What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?

Losing a parent because I can’t imagine having my mother gone from me.

What is your favorite occupation?

Being a musician is the best profession and I am happy to practice it.

What is your most marked characteristic?

I am a very free spirit. I am a very jolly person I am always smiling.

What do you most value in your friends?

I value the friendship most with every friend I have.

Who are your favorite writers?

I don’t really like to read so I don’t I don’t have a favorite writer.

Who is your hero of fiction?

I love Paul Walker. In his death he still remains a hero. He was behind `Fast and Furious’.  I was actually very hurt when he passed on. I felt close to him.

Which historical figure do you most identify with?

It is Jah Cure and Nelson Mandela.

Who are your heroes in real life?

It is my mother. She almost lost her life while giving birth to me and she could lose her life for me. I love her.

What are your favorite names?

Mac, Elvis and Lucas. Mac Elvis because I had a friend who was a gospel artist by that name. He passed on unfortunately but I will have to name my first son after him.

What is your greatest regret?

I regret not having gone with Mac Elvis to Tanzania where he passed on. I strongly believe that if I had gone with him he wouldn’t have died. I would have shielded him from whatever killed him because up till now we are not sure of the circumstances that cause his death. They say he drowned but I don’t believe it because he knew how to swim.

How would you like to die?

Though Mac Elvis’ death was a bad one, he passed on after singing for God. I would also like to die after serving God or on a mission to do so.

What is your motto?

I love God by loving people and I serve God by serving people.
