Kadaga re-elected, Oulanyah wins by a landslide

The National Resistance Movement Party candidates Rebecca Kadaga and Jacob Oulanyah were re-elected to lead parliament today. Kadaga was unopposed as Speaker while Oulanyah got 300 votes against only 115 for Mohamed Nsereko in the contest for Deputy Speaker.

President Yoweri Museveni attended the session and administered the oaths to the Speaker and Deputy as per the constitution.
