Jubilee Insurance applauds best performing agents at exclusive recognition gala

Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | Jubilee Insurance Uganda hosted a high-profile recognition gala to honour its top-performing insurance agents for their exceptional contribution to the company’s growth and customer outreach efforts.

The recently held colourful event in Kampala, brought together company executives, financial advisors, and industry stakeholders in celebration of excellence within Uganda’s insurance sector.

Among the evening’s standout achievers were Rosemary Nabatanzi and Nelson Nsubuga, who received special recognition for their remarkable performance in client acquisition, policy retention, and professional service delivery. Company officials described the duo as role models whose commitment continues to elevate standards within the industry.

Speaking during the ceremony, Jubilee Insurance leadership including the Acting CEO Eugine Mutekhele and the Chief Operating Officer, Dorcus Kuhimbisa praised agents for playing a critical role in increasing insurance awareness and expanding access to financial protection products across the country.

“Agents remain our strongest link to communities and businesses, particularly in areas where insurance penetration is still low,” Mutekhele said.

The company also highlighted the need for stronger customer engagement to improve policy retention, emphasizing that agents must go beyond selling policies and focus on building long- term relationships with clients.

Officials encouraged agents to better understand customer needs and recommend products aligned with their financial capabilities.

During the event, Jubilee Insurance unveiled enhanced motivation programs aimed at rewarding high-performing agents. The incentives include performance-based rewards and expanded professional development opportunities designed to strengthen the company’s nationwide agency network.

Industry leaders at the dinner also stressed the importance of simplifying insurance products to attract more Ugandans, especially those working in the informal sector. Speakers observed that increasing public awareness and trust remains essential to driving insurance uptake in Uganda.

The gala concluded with networking sessions, celebrations, and renewed commitments from agents and company leadership to continue advancing insurance inclusion and customer confidence across the country.
