Honesty, love, and kindness define me

What is your idea of perfect happiness?

A strong and close relationship with God. Over time, I have realised that family or friends can be there for me but there are places where only God can penetrate and reach.

What is your greatest fear?

I am a fearless person counting on the strong relationship with Christ Jesus.

What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?

Holding onto arguments for a long time. I question everything including motive something that doesn’t go well with some people.

What is the trait you most deplore in others?

Telling lies is disrespectful and belittles others.

Which living person do you most admire?

My father Samuel Ssentongo; he believes in people too much and his kindness is unmatched.

What is your greatest extravagance?

Anything that has to do with my children. Aside from that, I spend a lot on mobile internet data subscription to respond to queries and approve posts on the page.

What is the greatest thing you have ever done?

My fabulous home festival and building my house. I always thought that someone would build me a home until I realised that I could do it myself. Running and managing ‘Fabulous home festival’ tested my management skills and was a beautiful mental place to live.

What is your current state of mind?

Happy.

What do you consider the most overrated virtue?

The definition of success; for many people, the cornerstone for success is having money. Success should go beyond that to include making a positive impact on others.

What does being powerful mean to you?

Knowledge of the word of God and being able to act upon it. Being powerful also means serving others in response to God.

On what occasion do you lie?

I am deliberate about my conversations so I avoid telling lies.

What do you most dislike about your appearance?

I have learnt to love and appreciate myself even when I work to achieve the person I want to be.

Which living person do you most despise?

Anyone who tells lies.

What is the quality you most like in a woman?

Firm relationship with God.

What is the quality you most like in a man?

God fearing.

What or who is the greatest love of your life?

I love my father, two sons and siblings in equal measure.

When and where were you happiest?

My graduation in 2011 marked the beginning of a new chapter in my life. It meant transitioning from a child to an independent woman and embark on my entrepreneurship journey. Receiving my ultra sound scan results confirming the presence of my first child in me was a happy one too. I can’t explain the joy of knowing that I was working on co-creating a human being. I was also happy about the turn up at the fabulous home festival.

Which talent would you most like to have?

I love singing but lack the beautiful voice.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

I am grateful to God for who I am.

Where would you most like to live?

I love Uganda; it’s a blessed nation with so many opportunities.

What is your most treasured possession?

The ability to preach the gospel.

What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?

No person should be made to feel worthless. It makes many contemplate committing suicide thinking that there is no reason to live.

What is your favorite occupation?

Managing ‘my fabulous home’. I give it up to 80 percent of my time because I love to read about other people’s stories. The platform seeks to redefine the meaning of home right from the environment, the people, and facilities.

What do you most value in your friends?

Honesty means valuing someone.

Who are your favorite writers?

I am so much into Christian literature. However, I also love to read Steven Covey’s ‘Seven Habits of highly effective people’. It helps me to redefine my priorities focusing on what is more important and the kind of relationships that I should nurture to realise my dreams.

Which historical figure do you most identify with?

Maria Buelah Woodworth-Etter, the healing evangelist. She preached the gospel at a time when it wasn’t popular for women to address nations. She defied the odds and responded to God’s calling.

What is your greatest regret?

No regrets because I believe that even that which was a disadvantage is working out for my good.

How would you like to die?

In my sleep aged beyond 96 years.

What is your motto?

Anything is possible if you believe.
