Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | Carrefour Uganda is celebrating four years of its MyCLUB loyalty programme with a month-long campaign offering shoppers discounts, shopping vouchers and millions of loyalty points.
Carrefour, operated in Uganda by Majid Al Futtaim, is running the anniversary campaign throughout August as a thank-you to customers for their continued support and loyalty.
Through MyCLUB, shoppers can earn points on purchases while accessing exclusive offers and rewards designed to provide greater value from their shopping trips.
As part of the fourth anniversary celebrations, Carrefour is offering discounts of up to 50% on selected everyday essentials. Customers also have opportunities to win daily Shs40,000 shopping vouchers through Sanyu FM radio trivia and online treasure hunts.
The retailer is also giving shoppers a chance to win four million MyCLUB points.
To participate in the points promotion, customers need to spend at least Shs40,000 at any Carrefour supermarket and scan their MyCLUB app at checkout. The promotion is available across Carrefour stores nationwide.
For Nakawoya Aisha, one of the MyCLUB winners, the loyalty programme has made her regular shopping trips more rewarding.
Carrefour is already her preferred one-stop shopping destination because it allows her to access a wide range of products under one roof.
“It’s my one-stop shopping point. I’m able to get everything that I want under one roof without moving from one supermarket to another,” Aisha said.
She encouraged other shoppers to download the MyCLUB app, shop and accumulate points that can be redeemed towards future purchases.
The fourth anniversary campaign is intended to strengthen Carrefour’s engagement with its customer base while giving shoppers more opportunities to save and earn rewards from their everyday purchases.
Carrefour is inviting customers to take advantage of the anniversary offers and participate in the various promotions throughout August.
“Download the MyCLUB app, shop, earn and enjoy the rewards. The next win could be yours,” the retailer said.
