VIDEO: MPs Order Government to Stock Fuel Ahead of Kenya Elections

Kampala, Uganda | NBS |Parliament has urged government to stock enough fuel ahead of the Kenya election, warning that Uganda’s eastern neighbor could slip into unrest like it was in 2007.

In a heated session chaired by deputy speaker of parliament Rt. Hon. Jacob Oulanyah, the legislators were assured by the state minister for mineral resources Peter Lokeris that the country can run for 16 days in case Kenya fell into turmoil.

  1. Poor planners indeed, 16 days are the ones crisis speculators told you as the benchmark? In 2007 Kenyan elections fuel crisis in Kampala was so bad and this confirms that Hon Lokeris and group where there learnt northing and forgot nort nothing!! M7 should set very tight KPIs for such bureaucrats or ask them to try there skills some where else!!
