Uganda Baati offers new roofing option for homeowners, builders  

HOUSING FEATURE  | THE INDEPENDENT | Roofing products manufacturer and supplier Uganda Baati Limited has demonstrated its commitment by offering a new product dubbed ‘Lifestile Shingles’ to the Ugandan market, a development that has widened its offering to homeowners and builders, it said on Oct.26.

Uganda Baati Limited is a member of the Safal Group of companies that has operations in Kenya, Tanzania and South Africa.

Founded in 1964 – Uganda Baati was the first company in the East African region to set up an ultra-modern Continuous Galvanizing line, according to information on its website.

Macklean Kukundakwe, the head of marketing at Uganda Baati said, “The pitch of a roof is a critical consideration in any construction project, influencing both aesthetics and functionality. Lifestile Shingles stands out as a versatile roofing solution, as they can be effectively used on roofs with pitches as low as 10 degrees.”
