Outgoing URA boss to give leadership tips

Allen Kagina, the outgoing Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) Commissioner General, will give tips on how leadership can transform institutions, according to a notice issued by URA on Oct. 16.  With just a few days to the end of her memorable reign at the revenue body, Kagina will be the key note speaker at URA’s Open Minds Forum (OMF), an annual event on the URA calendar to be held at Serena Hotel on Oct. 23.

The forum will be organized under the theme: Role of Leadership in Institutional Transformation; The URA Story. Kagina leaves URA after 22 years, 10 of which she has been Commissioner General, a position she has served excellently, according to observers.  At the Forum, there will be two panelists; Leadership expert, Professor Chinedum Anigbogu from Nigeria and Chief of Defense Forces, Gen. Katumba Wamala. Other participants at the forum will be chief executive officers of private companies and leaders in government, accounting officers, key decision makers in public and corporate institutions and the public.
