Nivana water joins FUFA sponsors

Nivana Water has provided Shs500million for three years in the official partnership with FUFA.

Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | The Federation of Uganda Football Association-FUFA has unveiled Nivana water as a sponsor for the national football team.

FUFA President Moses Magogo says that they have signed a three year deal with the water company worth Shillings 500 million. Nivana is a product of Crown Beverages Limited (CBL).

Addressing journalists at FUFA House in Mengo, Magogo said the company will also provide all the nine national teams with their products for the three-year period of their sponsorship.

The National teams include the senior men’s National team Uganda Cranes, Uganda Kobs which is the Under 23, Uganda Hippos which is the Under 20, Uganda Cubs which is the Under 17, Uganda Under 15 Sand Cranes, Crested Cranes Women Under 20 and Women Under 17.

According to Magogo, the Federation is pleased with the sponsorship, saying that they will use the money to cater for all the National teams.

He revealed that the Federation is doing its best to attract more sponsors to fund football activities in the country.

Timothy Luzinda, the Head of Marketing at Crown Beverages Limited, who represented Nivana said they are privileged to partner with FUFA to develop football in the country.

“We are privileged and honoured to be part and parcel of this amazing football journey, this is not the first time we are partnering with FUFA. We have been partners with FUFA especially in beach soccer and other events. It is a three-year deal with Nivana water and cash,” Luzinda said.

Nivana joins a list of Uganda Cranes official sponsors led by Airtel Uganda, NIC and Nile companies.
