MultiChoice ‘Closer Together’ campaign brings in 4 new channels

GOtv value bouquet customers get more offers

Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT |  After a successful two-month ‘Tumbiiza GOtv’ campaign that had decoder prices dropped by 23%, MultiChoice Uganda have today announced a ‘Closer Together’ campaign offering that will give GOtv Value Customers more choices of entertaining content.

Speaking at the launch at the MultiChoice Uganda head offices in Kololo, Kampala, Joan Semanda Kizza, the PR & Communications Manager said that the new offerings will give their Pay TV customers value for money. It will see the tiering down of four channels to the GOtv Value Customers.

“The new channels added effective 01st April, 2021 to GOtv Value bouquet include; Telemundo, B4U Movies, Trace Mziki and SS Football,” Semanda explained, adding that, “Now, the GOtv Value package will add cutting edge drama, movie, music and sports entertainment that had been exclusive to the GOtv Plus and GOtv Max packages.”

According to Colin Asiimwe, MultiChoice Uganda’s Head of Marketing, “GOtv is known to be the most accessible home of great family entertainment. With the Closer Together campaign, we are reechoing that GOtv is your favorite place for variety of content at the most affordable rates, moreover at a time when economic shocks are still being felt, due to Covid-19.”

“To everyone out there who hadn’t yet bought a GOtv decoder, this is the ideal time to make the decision to be associated with friendly brand that is like a good friend,” Asiimwe added.

In a statement, MultiChoice said that “for the last seven years, GOtv has been popular among Ugandan families as the preferred Pay Tv service provider that offers value and a wide range of entertainment channels for everyone, allowing them to enjoy what they love regardless of age.”
