DP mourns James Mulwana

By Aloysious Kasoma

Opposition Democratic Party has mourned the fallen industrialist and businessman James Mulwana and described him as champion of the private enterprise.

Democratic Party President Norbert said that he learnt with deep sorrow of the death of James Mulwana.

“The death of James Mulwana has deprived Uganda of a leading champion of private enterprise.” He said in his message on Tuesday.

Mao praised Mulwana building the spirit of private enterprise among indigenous Ugandans and among his peers.

“The late Mulwana is a giant and his life will forever be an inspiration for many budding entrepreneurs.” He said.

Mao said that his achievements in the field of commerce and industry are only part of his legacy.

“While it is true to describe the late James Mulwana as a great industrialist and private entrepreneur, it is perhaps even truer to simply refer to him as a great man.” He added.

Mao added that for many who excel in the field of industry and trade, seldom make an impression as men and women of character.

“James Mulwana will be remembered as a man of sterling character, refined manners, outstanding discipline and unparalleled generosity. Uganda has lost a man of integrity at a time when integrity is in such short supply.” He described.
