Charles Rwomushana’s Liteside

Any three things that we don’t know about you?

I don’t know about the volumes of heat that would melt me. I can be anywhere and some stage if there is a problem, I will generate some force to destroy or push you away. I am water and my word is fire. There is no capacity to stop the fire because God has baptised me with fire and water.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?

Any moment with God

What is your greatest fear?

Betraying a value for materialism.

What is the trait you most deplore in others?

Idiots and impervious; I struggle with idiots who have and those without power.

Which living person do you most admire?

I only admire Jesus Christ and no other compares to him.

What is your greatest extravagance?

Other than donating, even if I had a trillion, it would evaporate in a second to get into the dynamics of power.

What is the greatest thing you have ever done?

I consciously contributed in bringing someone on earth who wouldn’t be there without that decision.

What do you consider the most overrated virtue?

Worshiping material; most of the young people worship material something that will cause many to perish.

What does being powerful mean to you?

Being powerful is defined by outcomes. It’s about imposing a behavior on others to make them believe in your line and live it.

On what occasion do you lie?

I hate to tell lies and therefore cannot consciously construct a lie. It also consumes a lot of energy.

Which living person do you most despise?

I despise anyone who kills innocent people. How do you promise someone to renounce violence, become part of you and receive amnesty but end up killing them? I despise such people.

What is the quality you most like in a woman?

Individual’s characters are determined by conditions.

What is the quality you most like in a man?

There is no permanent character or trait to describe an individual. People change depending on circumstances.

What or who is the greatest love of your life?

I don’t have capacity and time to love too much.

When and where were you happiest?

Every time I have a conversation with God is a happy moment for me. Others that would be victories, like being elected guild president, turned out to be challenges because the voters entrusted me with the power and expected me to battle for them.

Which talent would you most like to have?

The talent to fight either through machines or physically.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

During my first year at Makerere University, I gave myself a responsibility to look after thousands of students some of whom had their families displaced by the war. For some reason, I fought Amama Mbabazi with a passion but we were able to reconcile and I still feel at ease.

Where would you most like to live?

I never determined coming here and will therefore remain here as an individual. I am a shareholder in Uganda and don’t know what would be good outside it.

What is your most treasured possession?

I don’t put my mind on material things. I treasure spiritual power.

What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?

I have no problem with any human being going through any level of pain if it’s a sacrifice. If someone’s death is meant to save others after the failure of other forces, the pain is worth it.

What is your favorite occupation?

Impacting behavior through force, persuasion, and education or spiritual means. I am made by God to make and perpetuate life.

What do you most value in your friends?

I crave for a comrade because I have no capacity to know someone at the level of a friend.

Who are your favorite writers?

I don’t have any yet because many writers exaggerate just one idea into hundreds of pages. I don’t want to read for fun but to acquire knowledge so I haven’t come across my favourite writer.

Which historical figure do you most identify with?

There is no other individual who can come near Christ; he had a lot of power, was able to restrain it and was violent where necessary. He was also very knowledgeable and had a very good doctrine of movement of resources through love.

What is your greatest regret?

I have not made conscious mistakes. There have only been accidents imposed on me by situations so I don’t have regrets.

How would you like to die?

I don’t think about death because I am beyond it.

What is your motto?

‘There is victory in death’ and ‘I can’t be impeded by souls that eat food’
