Busia, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | Busia police are holding a woman for possessing a suspected bomb. The suspect is Angela Banamwana, 35, a resident of Kisoro district.

Police intercepted the suspect on Tuesday from one of the porous border points in Sofia village in the Eastern division of Busia municipality.

She was traveling from Nairobi in Kenya to Kampala. Banamwana told police that one of her friends in Kampala gave her an item to sell to an undisclosed company in Kenya’s capital Nairobi.
