Time to up the ante at Singleton Match Play Challenge

 

 

Entebbe, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | Sixteen teams will face off in eight matches as Round 3 swings off in the Singleton Match Play Golf Challenge at the par 71 Lakeside Entebbe Club this Saturday.

Season two winners Shiela Kesiime and Toro Club lady captain Peace Amooti Kabasweka will battle West Nile Club members Jimmy Adiga and Johnson Dairo as one pair seeks to advance to Round 4 in this nerve wrecking Pairs tournament which is in Season 7.

The couple of Elias Katwebaze(In Picture) and Evelyne Atukunda will face off with Conrad Odere and Shaban Ramathan.

The tournament reaches a climax with the Grand Finale in December where the overall winners get a fully paid ticket to watch the Dubai Classic later in the year courtesy of Uganda Airlines. The other winners will win tickets to Uganda Airlines country destinations.

Robert Busingye and Innocent Nahabwe will take on seasoned scribe and golfer Mark Namanya and Simon Ocen.

Joseph Bogera and Kenneth Kiddu take on Nelson Musinguzi and Rukia Nalwoga.

Former ULGU President Anne Abeja will play alongside Dr William Esuma as they battle against Richard Mucunguzi and Said Kirarira.

The other games see Peter Atwine and Bob Matsiko take on Michael Odur and Brian Manyindo, Moses Ssebugwawo and Counsel Charles Odere take on Toro Club pair of Lillian Koowe and Joyce Kisembo.

Entebbe Club Captain Serwano Walusimbi and Peter Magona take on Kenya Ambassador to Uganda Ret General George Owino and Sarah Nduhukire.

The 19th hole experience theme night is Retro with full blast Mixing by invited Kenyan DJs.
