What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?

I am not social especially when it comes to women. I don’t associate with them well which affects my relationship with them.

What is the trait you most deplore in others?

Hypocrisy

Which living person do you most admire?

Everyone has a good side so it’s hard to mention a name.

What is your greatest extravagance?

I like snacks; roasted groundnuts and crisps a lot that my friends would buy me such things and I make them movies.

What is your current state of mind?

I am bothered that the film industry is not receiving the attention it deserves yet if promoted it can be better than it is now.

What do you consider the most overrated virtue?

Owning a car.  Some people don’t have houses but own big cars and tend to think a car contributes to their reputation.

On what occasion do you lie?

I often lie when I am talking to my children because sometimes creating an untrue story is the only way to interact with them.

What do you most dislike about your appearance?

I like everything about me.

Which living person do you most despise?

I despise politicians because they keep promising what they can’t deliver.

What is the quality you most like in a man?

A man should love, especially the children.

What is the quality you most like in a woman?

A woman by nature is a teacher so she should be exemplary.

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?

A Luganda word ‘Tutegeereganye’ literally meaning have we understood each other because I always want to be on the same page with the person I am interacting with.

What or who is the greatest love of your life?

I’ve been in love with movies all my life. I loved them way back before getting a chance of watching them through my brother’s stories.

When and where were you happiest?

The day I heard myself talking on BBC.  It had never crossed my mind that one day my voice could be aired on BBC because I had no plans of being a rebel. While still young my grandmother would tune in to BBC for news but whenever Africa was mentioned it was always about war. This time the guns shots on BBC were mine and it wasn’t war but we were speaking fun.

Which talent would you most like to have?

I wish I was a football coach, a very good one to make Uganda cranes qualify for World Cup.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

I wish God reduces on my kindness to become a little mean. So many people I’ve helped hoping they can also help others have disappointed me.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

Producing my first action movie; many big people in Uganda’s movie industry had discouraged me that it’s damn expensive and impossible for one to do such a movie.

If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be?

I want to come back as me.

Where would you most like to live?

Where many people are.

What is your most treasured possession?

My perseverance has helped me achieve what I have so far.

What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?

Living in war with no hope that you will make it to the next day.

What is your favorite occupation?

I love marketing and if I had gotten chance to join university I will have pursued it as a career.

What is your most marked characteristic?

My boys here call me Mister Teacher because I am strict.

What do you most value in your friends?

Humility

Who are your favourite writers?

Francis Davis Imbuga, the writer of `Betrayal in the city’ and when it comes to movies I admire the director of an American movie – `The Negotiator’. I wish I can do a movie like that.

Who are your favorite actors?

Jackie Knowles is my favorite but enjoy action movies because I pick a lesson or two from each one I watch.

Which historical figure do you most identify with?

The story of Jesus Christ depicts the life we are living now. From Jesus, I learn that even when you don’t have a lot in terms of riches, you can change the world.

Who are your heroes in real life?

Teachers do a lot to make us who we finally become.

What is it that you most dislike?

I hate disappointments.

What is your greatest regret?

I loved studying so much but I didn’t have the ability to stay in school longer than secondary school. I regret not going ahead to university like it’s supposed to be.

How would you like to die?

At night in my sleep.

What is your motto?

Achieve the goal or die trying.
