Muslim clerics murder suspects at Court.

On April 4, the International Crimes Division of the High Court will deliver a ruling on the Muslims clerics’ case where 14 men are accused of murder. The case is about the murders of Mustafa Bahiga and Ibrahim Kirya and the 14 accused will know whether they have a case to answer or not. The panel of three judges is led by Justice Ezekiel Muahnguzi, others are Percy Tuhaise and Jane Kiggundu. The panel also received confirmation that both defence and prosecution had filed written submissions on the case. A total of 36 prosecution witnesses testified in the trial that started mid last year. The charge sheet shows that the 14 men are facing four counts- terrorism, two counts of murder and the other one being attempted murder.
