Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | President Yoweri Museveni has arrived in Kololo to deliver the State of Nation Address.
This is the 1st Sitting of the 1st Meeting of the 3rd Session of the 11th Parliament.
In her communication, Speaker Anitah Among urged the Leader of Government Business and the Government Chief Whip to ensure that the 3rd Session of the 11th Parliament witnesses better achievement of the Government’s Legislative Agenda.
The Speaker said that only 17 Bills out of the planned 55 Bills were introduced by Government, representing barely 31%. Among said the State of the Nation Address is an avenue of accountability by the Chief Executive to the Nation on the Government’s plans versus achievements in the previous financial year.
