VIDEO: Regional E-Cargo tracking system launched in Kampala

VIDEO: Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda have  agreed to monitor cargo movement using the Electronic Cargo Tracking System from the port of Mombasa in a move aimed at curbing cargo theft and tax evasion along the northern corridor. Uganda Revenue Authority Commissioner General Doris Akol says the innovation will help the private sector secure their goods and avoid losses. The northern corridor stretches from Mombasa via Kampala to Kigali highway.
