VIDEO: Museveni orders payment of arrears for Public Universities’ Staff

NBS: Light at the end of the tunnel as President Yoweri Museveni directs the ministry of Finance to pay all salary arrears to striking non teaching staff of public universities.

The president also instructed that a committee be set up to investigate the pay roll saga and come out with a report within three months. This was during a meeting between President Yoweri Museveni and the non-teaching staff and members of the Public University Councils at State House Entebbe to discuss the continued closure of universities.
