Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | Uganda Breweries Limited (UBL) has launched a festive gifting catalogue featuring its premium and reserve beverage brands, with customers able to order products through authorised distributors and delivery partners.
The catalogue, branded Gift the Cheer of the Season, was unveiled on Tuesday evening, October 27, at House of Walker in Wandegeya, Kampala, at an event presided over by UBL Managing Director Felicité Nson.
It features brands including Johnnie Walker, The Singleton, Baileys, Don Julio and Tanqueray, alongside vodka and beer.
UBL says the products are available at distributor rates, with options including gift packaging, bottle engraving and delivery.
Speaking at the launch, Nson said the catalogue was intended to make it easier for customers to select gifts during the festive season.
“This is the season to give. We all have special people who have made our year much lighter and better. This catalogue will help us select the perfect gifts at favourable prices,” she said.
The launch comes as UBL marks 80 years of operations in Uganda through its 80 Days of Customer Appreciation campaign, which includes engaging customers and business partners and recognising their contribution to the company.
As part of the campaign, UBL recognised CK Distributors Managing Director Christopher Kafure for his longstanding partnership with the company.
The event also included discussions about gifting and appreciation, with guests sharing how they planned to recognise people who had supported them during the year.

Shiba Kamara, one of the guests, said she intended to buy a gift for her mother.
“My mother has been my light throughout this year. She has been my biggest source of support and motivation, and I am planning to gift her a bottle of Baileys to show her my appreciation,” she said.
Melanie Kaita, UBL’s National Advocacy Manager, said the catalogue gives customers a guide to the available brands and allows them to arrange gifts for friends and family.
Kaita led a whisky-pairing session featuring Johnnie Walker Gold Label and The Singleton single malt Scotch whisky, demonstrating how the drinks could be paired with white chocolate and dehydrated apple slices.
Guests also took part in a cocktail-making session led by professional mixologists, who demonstrated recipes that participants could prepare at home.
Preston Abel, a mixologist, emphasised that the cocktail experience depends on more than the choice of drink.
Glassware, ice and garnishing also contribute, while ingredients such as dried apples, oranges, lemons and strawberries can add flavour.
The catalogue is available through UBL’s authorised distributors. Customers can also call the company’s hotline on 0770581534 to explore the available options.
UBL says the offering includes free delivery, bottle engraving, special pricing and gift packaging as it seeks to make festive gifting more convenient for customers
