Rugby Cranes off to Zimbabwe

Rugby Cranes have this morning set off for Harare where they will face off with the Zimbabwe Sables in the Rugby Afrique Tier 1A.

The Cranes honestly are counting their chances; Zimbabwe was humiliated by Kenya 61-15 while we lost to Namibia at home 40-31 in an epic encounter.

Namibia last weekend embarrassed a resurgent Kenya with a 56-21 scoreline, much to the regret of the Cranes as we literally threw away our game against the African champions.

On the back of that performance, the Cranes are in a buoyant mood to upstage the Sables on home soil; reason being, it is the one honest chance they have of staying in the elite Tier 1A. It is unlikely we shall beat Kenya at home next weekend.
