Paul Biya sworn in as Cameroonian president

Yaounde, Cameroon, | Xinhua | Cameroonian President Paul Biya was sworn in on Thursday for a new seven-year term after winning 53.66 percent of the vote in the country’s Oct. 12 presidential election.

Biya, 92, who has been in power since 1982, leads the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement.

  1. Its so sad that African leaders have ring fenced their seats, yet the continent needs flesh minds to take to new heights.
