The Independent Uganda: You get the Truth we Pay the Price
Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | The casket carrying the body of the late Dokolo Woman Member of Parliament, Cecilia Ogwal, is at parliament this morning for viewing and a special sitting for legislators to pay tribute.
The casket, accompanied by pallbearers from the Uganda Police Force was received by Speaker of Parliament, Anita Among, and other Members of Parliament. The casket now lies at the Central Lobby where Members of Parliament and other mourners will view the body and sign the condolence book.
Ogwal, 77, breathed her last on Thursday 18th, 2024 in India after a short illness.
