Former minister in charge of ethics Fr. Lokodo

Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | Former Ethics Minister Fr. Simon Lokodo has died today in Geneva.

“It’s with great shock and pain that we‘ve learnt of the passing of our Honourable Member of the Commission, Fr. Simon Lokodo. He passed on this morning in Geneva Switzerland. May the Almighty Rest His Soul in Eternal Peace, ” the Uganda Human Rights Commission announced today.

  3. He was really a man of people who used to sponsor most of the school drop outs and orphans in karamoja, kaabong&karenga by sending them back to school and paying their fees😭😭

  4. Let us mourn the passing of Fr. Lokodo with humility and love to represent his true colors of peace but at the same time celebrate his lifelong contributions to peace and harmony in and outside Uganda.
    His life was a testament to how faith can inspire us to work for justice and human dignity. He taught us what it means to truly advocate and work for reconciliation.
    He wanted every Ugandan to experience the freedom, the peace and the joy that all of us could enjoy if we truly respected one another as God’s creation.
