The revenue Production Sharing Agreements (PSAs) the government signed with various oil companies will remain confidential in order to protect the interests of both Parties.

Over 100 NRM delegates from the 12 sub counties in Nebbi district converged yesterday at Nebbi primary school in the morning to elect new office bearers in vain.
The delegates had turned out to fill the posts of the NRM district chairman, Vice Chairperson and Public secretary.
The delegates wanted to replace Patrick Okumu Ringa, as district chairperson for allegedly abandoning his office since 2006.
Pupils in Arua and Maracha-Terego district spend most of their productive time queuing for short and long calls. According to a survey carried out in both districts several schools in the district lack latrines.
The survey indicates that 140 pupils share one latrine in both Maracha-Terego and Arua district, with girls being the most affected.

Hilda Kawuki, who was working for Goal, an Irish - Non Governmental Organization was kidnapped together with her colleague Sharon Commins, a Canadian national from their compound on July 3.

Each Presidential candidate will get a VIP vehicle at 130 million, and an escort pickup of 70 million shillings.
Sam Rwakoojo, the Electoral Commission Secretary says that the budget could shoot-up depending on the number presidential candidate.
He says that going by the number of ten candidates, the commission will also require two hundred million shillings to facilitate each candidate at the cost of twenty million shillings per candidate.
