Tanzania will next month host a high level economic conference scheduled to discuss the impact of the global financial crisis on the African continent.
The conference jointly organised by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the government of Tanzania, will be held in Dares Salaam from March 10-11 with a theme, “Changes: Successful Partnerships for Africa’s Growth Challenge.”
The objective of the conference is to discuss the impact of the global financial crisis on Africa and, also learn from the continent’s successful economic experiences in recent years, especially the macroeconomic stability and growth.
