It's laughable that even folks in the media are hoodwinked into buying this ridiclous suggestion that the opposition has no alternative policy agenda. Tell me Mr. Bichachi, what is so uniquely brilliant about some ot the policy arguments you have made in your article that the Ugandan opposition leaders cannot aritculate them? The Left (CPI/M)party has ruled the Indian state of West Bengal for the last 35 years and at every election the issue of TINA becomes a campaign mantra. Today the Democratic Party is saying the same about the GOP in America. The same TINA discourse was advanced in embracing IMF?World Bank neo-liberal reforms. I feel sick that the Ugandan elite especially the media continue to arrogantly believe that the opposition is so inept and bankrupt as not to match Museveni's "brilliant" policies!
