Andrew, you thank you for your courageous exposure of this governments rot.
Hopefully with more enlightenment of the masses, people will be able to make more informed decisions when it is in their power to change the status quo i.e. elections. - Ziggy

besides being a first lady Janet enjoys rights like any other Ugandan to stand for any political post of her interest and in any case i believe Ntungamo voters must have archived a lot from her representation. - dan

Hello Mwenda, you are such a good person in enlighting ugandans in fact when you left K-FM,i even ended listening to any political programmes on any media.I think its high time the new generation started looking forward to see that we should not repeat the same mistakes which our elders are doing.we need a country which will make ugandans feel comfortable. These must be aware that we have had many dictators like Silaisie and many others but still they left,so let them do what they feel like as we watch .

Mwenda, If you became a presindent , You would be a disasiter to your relatives who went to school for resons of brain empowerement. if the relatives of M7 have the campitance to compete for the jobs, why not work? Or you expect them to feed on Kisoszi and Rwakitura farms ? Analyse issues not persnnalities. - Buchana

Andrew, there is a word for that place that devoid men of shame; bankruptcy of conscious. while you stand-up to resist with pride, remind all what Dr. King said "Change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability, but comes through continuous struggle. And so we must straighten our backs and work for our freedom. A man can’t ride you unless your back is bent" d'-' d'_' d'-'b d'_'b - Bulcanan

As a student there, he wrote a thesis titled; ''Fanon theory'' in which he stated:
''To transform a human being into an efficient, uncostly and completely subservient slaves you have, as a precondition, you have to completely purge him of his humanity, manwood and will. otherwise, as long as he has hope for a better free future, he will never succumb to enslavement.
To become an efficient instrument of oppression, you have to radically dehumanize yourself by foregoing many qualities that are normally found in balanced human being. You purge yourself of compassion, altruism, consideration of other people's sufferings and the capacity to restrain your greed.
Failure of the oppressor to get rid of such undesireble feeling will mean inability to a succesful exploiter''

Andy I agree with you in most of the points you have raised but I DONT at all agree with you when you try to equate Kagame to Mandela. I really don tbelieve theres any leader/president who can be equated to Mandela. I for one think Mandela is a gift to humanity. - Galiwango Daniel

This Rwakitura Kingdom is what took these guys to the bush but they cound not have managed to form it without the help of others. Its like a game to them testing the waters as they go along. We may be on the brink of the Rwakitura kingdom but im sure it wont come to pass soon the master piece will be displaced. Surely this cant go on forever!!!!!!!!!!! Im sure they will try to consolidate every piece with the soon coming oil money(if its not already flowing into their pockets), but fate wont allow it. Mobutu , Abacha, Sadam, Milosovich almost succeeeded but as fate would have it , it was not to be & thats what will become of this Rwakitura Kingom. The passports will not be issued!!!!!!!!!! Elections or war will Not be the ones to displace the master piece. - Robert

Andrew, i have tried to look around for a suitable word for all this madness and i came up with 'Kainecracy' to describe this nepotism in overdrive. 'Kainecracy' is to Museveni's Uganda as 'Kleptocracy' was to Mobutu's Zaire. - Vincent

Bravo Mewnda. Dr.Byagagaire is actually a heardsman. He would have been useful to his family if he looked after his fathers cows in Mbarara. But his is okey. We also have housgirls and houseboys in the name of Private Secretaries. These include Ms Dora Semambo, Byakutaga Patrick and Nuwe Rosean. This is Uganda. - Charles

True Museveni is corrupt, but saying that he's the worst president Uganda has seen is an exaggeration. Either Mwenda has not read history or he's intentionaly dodging the facts. - John

Shisha Robert, ". what ever you say creates hatred for the westerners in general but the ugly point is that we see you as one of them. you are therefore creating hatred againist yourself."

Andrew should not be blamed for all the hate going around. Museveni has created so much hate betwween Ugandans with his greed and ignorance. His day is coming, Sadam though he will rule forver, but he was fouund in a ditch and not in any of his mansions and now dead. Museveni and his ass-kissers will get their day too. As far as I am converned he is worse than Obote and Amin combined.

I wish more people had guts like Mr. Mwenda. Keep up the good work Mr. Mwenda.

We all know what’s going on in everyday life. We see the ignorance mixed with arrogance. This naturally creates hatred. When, for example, Mwenda points a finger to a problem, those surviving on nepotism will look at Mwenda not where he is point to. Then they easily use the word hatred. If arrogance is normal to them then that’s were rests the problem = they are the problem. - Watcher

:)Dear Andrew,

Do you remember the last time you said anything good about the president? This brings me to the understanding that you have a grudge to sort out with the president. may be he refused to give you his daughter despite having all the qualities of a fair husband.
what ever you say creates hatred for the westerners in general but the ugly point is that we see you as one of them. you are therefore creating hatred againist yourself. - SHISA ROBERT

The Journalism (or lack of it)!

Journalists are supposed to inform us by answering the questions "What", "Who", "Where", "When", and "How", and only after that might they hazard a "Why" opinion based on these verifiable facts. Mwenda's article is rich on assertions without presenting verifiable facts to answer the above questions. Who saw/sees the soldiers grazing cattle? Whom did M7 meet informally in his night-wear, when, and why was the informality necessarily negative? What has the Vet Dr Byagagaire have to say about his work? etc etc etc.
In short, what are the FACTS as opposed to what you want to believe?
Without facts you do not inform, you spread rumours; and while the rumours may be sweet to the ear of the already converted, they are an abuse to the intelligence of those seeking to make an informed opinion.
Lastly I don't see how you can qualitatively equate a bad investment like Tri-Star Apparels and the alleged embezzlement of Global Fund money for personal use. Are we not being too simple here? - Daudi Wagaba
