In his announcement, Minister Onek asserted that Tullow had delayed oil production by several years and threatened to revoke the company’s licence if it obstructed development further.

Lubechem International introduces a wide range of very high performance petroleum additives, based on components technology, which makes engines, machines and equipments run smoother at optimum efficiency for longer. With outstanding economics in fuel usage, servicing costs, reliability, efficiency & engine and machine wear and tear, then really is no better solution available today. - diesel oil additive

The Government should come over to explain why they entered in such a deal of exchanging oil with jet fighters while some people are suffering in areas like Budduda and MP's must come back in their constituencies to tell people how they will benefit in that deal. Thank you. - Twesigomwe Ronald

The man even wants to change the geographical historical boundaries of Buganda State. Buganda State border on the Western frontier goes all the way to Lake Albert at the Late King Muteesa II 's last stand border post of NDAIGA port. Unfortunately for Obote's UPC in a shaky coalition with the political party of Kabaka Yekka, the referendum that was wrongly processed 1964/65 was through bad faith on both sides of the spectrum. International oil organizations in bed with this military junta neglect this sort of political mishap at their own peril. - kabayekka

All that we see was has been in the pipeline for over 40 years courtesy of the guys in the boardrooms in New York, and London. We need to know this, if there is no buyer, there cannot be a seller. Museveni is the smaller devil in this game. But it is incumbent upon the masses to rise up and determine their destiny. am afriad to say it is going to be a long time before our nation is peaceful. There are so many hyenas in the wait, but if we gang up together, we can triumph. The reason why Buganda is trying to push for federalism is because there are minerals allover the place, e.g. uraniun in Mabira, etc. We need to have foresight in these matters, but most of all be politically switched on.
A Country's wealth has become personnal properties for the liberators so call (Historials). They onces drunk in plastic mugs now the fly in presidential jets, feed in fine china, silver & gold cutleries. They've long forgotten people who harsh them to power claiming that the election were rigged and couldn't wait another 5 years of UPC not even a chance (mind you Uganda had just come out of sanction becase of Idi Amin's regime). Look at what is happening in Iraqi today. There wouldn't have been Luwero with all poor souls (skulls) just because of a few individuals selfishness to gain power (mind you those skulls are not only Buganda, so many Northerns lose their live in ambushes by the NRA is certinly (Gulu highway). - Walter Bongo

Indeed this President is very impatient. That is why the man is running all over the place. No wonder his farm income will soon reduce in travel costs. A properly elected free and fair democratic government is the best one to sort out this buisness. If this oil is under so much ecosystems that are extremely sensitive and dangerously unpredictable right in the middle of an old continent, well the British and Chinese must understand well this predicament. Unfortunately the people of Buganda who must be in control as much as possible are not there as yet. Kirinde kiggweyo afumita mukira.

Well people who have read animal farm, and reource management books by writters like Jill Shakleman,Nicholas Shaxson. There is no surprise about the happenings to our beloved country in the oil sector. We have the law, policies that are extraordinarily very good to steer the country, but we need a phantom to get rid of selfish hyenas eating up our state apparatus. The president should endevour to check these 'mafia if he is o sustain hegemony in Uganda.' - tom kisembo

These are heartless pests that must be treated to what pests deserve: DOOM or DDT! Under what law and policy for e.g. does the president use presidential body guards to guard oil fields and facilities. Was it an act of parliament? The opposition have since said nothing about the oil and other natural resources exploration, refinement and utilization of revenues.To-date how many Ugandans know that we have oil and what it means in terms of national wealth? I am sure less than 20%. The oil speculators are already making billions of dollars under the table and yet we haven't got a dime. Aren't there enough angry people out there? - Lakwena

UGANDA NEEDS TO BE TORN DOWN AND REBUILT

Like a dangerous structure, Uganda needs to be torn down and rebuilt from scratch (kuvunja na ku jenga). First rise up once and for all to rid themselves of a predatory regime. Otherwise we only have ourselves to blame. How a handful of greedy people continue to own and control the lives and future of 30 million people is unthinkable. What right does Museveni, Kutesa, Amama Mbabazi and their families have to own our (national) natural resources? - Lakwena
