The estimates they do on peoples metres are not acceptable and it is even worse when they assume that the metre did not read the usual amount of power you consume because it was defective. Sometimes people are not at home or they have tenants who share the same metre and move away so for umeme to assume that the metre is reading less therefore it had a defect is wrong and un acceptable. Cant we organise ourselves and push umeme out of business? Cant other distributors be allowed so that people chose where to be like telecom companies?
