All along the Regime ruling Uganda has not been democratic if at this time it is unable to arrange free and fair democratic national elections after two decades in power. The country of Uganda seems to be matching backwards other than forward in good international governance. It seems that many of the national and international investors financial agreements that have been made will become absolete when a new government takes over the
affairs of this State. No democratic government wants to take on the responsibility of looking after personal agreements made in the disguise of State agreements. This is exactly what was the international understanding when the regime of Idi Amin was removed from the affairs of State 1979. - kabayekka

If Mbabazi wants to participate in all businesses involving goverment,is nt our security which he heads in jeopardy since he is likely to influence procurement of fake items like the notorious war choppers? For God's sake let him leave elections alone afterall he was implicated in gross malpractices when Musinguzi Garuga floored him in Mbarara court and his body guards shot some people dead injuring another in the eye.He should watch a NTV clip where Museveni failed to shake his hands if he thinks he is the closest in the queue. - Deus Ruhangariyo

Well then if the 2011 polls are in trouble, why should our regional leadership at Mengo continue to do peace talks with such a very undemocratic NRM government? It is high time the State of Buganda realizes this sort of fake political representation and its implications to its world image abroad so that a boycott of the election is declared in Buganda. - kabayekka

The NRM are on their down fall now and panicing, the dictators and NRM oppressors should concentrate more on which country is going to grant them asylum, rather than face a losing battle. with the IPC Coliation in place we have already won the battle. I urge DP to join the fight, together we are conqurers.

This was the pattern across the country although different methods were employed.

• in Mityana, FDC polling agents were chased from duty.• In Nakasongola airfield, school children were brought to vote for Museveni.• In Hoima, soldiers went on rampage beating up suspected FDC supporters.• In Wakiso at a place called Bukasa, soldiers chased several agents of opposition parties particularly the FDC from carrying out their work.•
The MONITOR newspaper had all along published faked electoral surveys of a Museveni victory. Such surveys as the Monitor was repeatedly warned, risked being used to legitimatise Museveni's rigged election results as being consistent with "independent" Monitor polls especially so as they were already widely quoted by foreign media bodies. - Joash Kaaro Karungi
