But Mr Independent Mrs Namuyanja is not a peasant. She is a temporary resident of an urban dwelling. You know very well and all the aspiring Ugandan politicians know who is a Ugandan peasant or a Bugandan peasant is. Even Museveni lived with them and his father might be one of them other wise Museveni's Dad was a nomadic cattle rustler. Atubo's Dad must have been a pastoralist. To pull all these together and try to make a working land bill is hard business. Mr Mayiga should be careful about being pulled into this sort sort of confusion. Buganda land holdings were confiscated by central government and up to now central government has refused to return the same.
On the other hand, I heard a very truthful ad the ther day, it says something to the effect of, "Thinking is the ultimate challenge." When one uses the brain power hard enough, even the most trying of times have a bright side. I can think of atleast four ways this case of passing a law that the majority, plus the leadership of the people it concerns most rejected can turn out favourable for Buganda. Now let the Bibanja holders and all poor /disadvantaged people and people who are interested in passing onto their children just and safe society be ready next time around when common sense based on the universal rules calls again. - Twakoowa

For starters, there is always going to be poor people, always have and always will. Even the most so called developed/rich countries have their poor. It might not be the same kind of poor as you find in African States, but in some instances they are poorer. What has been making problems sufferable in Africa is solidarity. Just think about the wars that have been taking place in Buganda, and never did they necessitate concentration camps. Displaced people have always been absorbed in safer territories. Now this law has been passed by the enemie of the people, and as sure as we are writing here, will be gone soon. But not before it has dug a ravine between the have and the have nots. Be ready to welcome homelessness. But then again, the poor were warned.

The problem with m7 and his NRM is that they dont know no law and dont respect no law , but they want law to safeguard their loot and intimidate others , thats why m7 when talking of EAU, he is more worried about free flow of trade across member states and not the fundamentals of unity , In Kenya we still have problems Tanzania eyes Rwanda and Burundi not with a good eye , in uganda a now wealthy m7 and his men want to transfer their loot to build hotels and factories across EAU tax free or just bank it and enjoy life , in the end we see m7 ambitions are driven by grab and take then intimidate tactics , fortunatelly m7 has come of age his mental health is soon to betray him, living him with nothing but a useless piece of human fresh - Major Adam Kifaliso
