People are sharp in Uganda and they wont stop at nothing to get money for their families.. As they say, you would rather die by the bullet than die of hunger! CHOGM, POLICE, GHOST SOLDIERS, AGOA, NSSF , MABIRA, to mention but a few are all BUFEERE PROJECTS!! What happened was the lady was assisted to obtain a good Visa and paid some money, she was ment to go to Washington but her point of entry was Califonia, she was not very clear with her trip and was deported, after deportation, she went back to the guys who helped her to seek a refund for the money and hence went to the press. The problem is that they of course target criminals most of the time. To put it more politely, they target people who have some wrong doing on their part. However, since institutions in are not strong enough in Uganda, they also target them. We need to do more to strengthen them. I have trust in our Police Force.
