			<description> Road accidents in less developing courtiers claim more civilian lives than in war zones. You will agree with me that these deaths deprive developing societies of their most needed assets; the youth and able-bodied citizens who should be putting food on tables and financing children’s education and future.
Ugandans fall in line quick when they realize the seriousness of the mater at stake. Here however the Government should bring down the force of the law with all its might.
In 2005 when I was in Kampala, I was impressed on noticing that barely anyone smoked in restaurants and public joints!
The question was „how did they get this one right?&quot;
I think even here the magic words are more; awareness, propagation, implementation and vigilance.
Contrary to what the police officer believes, the first actors in the chain of road and traffic safety are the POLICE. Society has evidently failed to regulate itself by itself that is why we have this problem in the first place!
