I trust that the East African Federation will never see any light of the day simply
because it has alot of holes and hidden agendas .
With the Balaalo moving around the whole region annexing land this project will
be resisted resolutely like in the 1930's when the colonialists wanted to impose it
BUGANDA opposed and failed miserably. BUGANDA will never be a party to a hegemony.
Some leaders want to act emperors in this organistion while at the same time walking in the foot steps of
colonialists. Such venture is anti people as it is today it is a sell out , No wonder the people of Tanzania of
Tanzania and BUGANDA are opposing it. - Nsubuga

Look at these goons trying their best to guzzump the Wananchi! Don't we all know that our policies are written in lands far away. Amin was far better than all of them put together. The one sat on the far left has bipolar, next to him is one with mental issues, Kagame is another demagogue in the making, you can complete the puzzle for yourselves. It shall be the people to bring about true change and not self-made despots who try to window-dress the economy in this manner.

The East African Community if operational will be the best thing that could happen to our region. However there is nothing to indicate that the authorities are prepared let alone preparing our people for it. It will need much more than our dubious politicians. Ethnic rivarlies are rife in Kenya, Uganda, Burundi , Rwanda .Tanzania being the exception. Traditional, religious, civil, rural, urban and all types of leaders need to be involved in the process in order to avoid future problems. In a region where ballot -stuffing is the norm its wrong to pretend to live the EAC project to our '' elected '' leaders only. - James K. Lutaaya
