When will blame on external factors end?

Here we go again. Well written article but still telling us that Africa's problems are essentially external and therefore solutions must come from outside. When will attitude end? African countries are not the only part of the world that were colonized. Asia, Latin America, etc were also under colonial yoke for many years. How come Asia is first industrlizing and living standards rising? Did they concentrate only on external blame? To make the west feel guilty and therefore give free billions or trillions for economic growth? Please, let us concentrate internally on governance and other aspects of our culture that are keeping backward. - Paul Muwanga

With that in mind, it is very true then and important for Africans and their leaders to realize and accept that Africans has all the powers and only lucks the will to decide and to say enough is enough and the west would bow down to that, very little does Africa need from the west other than the aid that has kept them very poor and can be done way with and Africa would be better off. America and the west as a whole depends on Africa and the Middle East resources for their survival so if Africans could unite together and send one voice, the west would have no choice but to do as Africans would say because there would be no resources to sustain them if sources are cut off from Africa. This is why they will always do all their best to cot African leaders particularly those heading countries with vast resources and keep promoting corruption to keep them distracted as they loot. - Chris

Serving the same masters

It is indeed very important for Africans to realize that Obama is an American and he is serving is Masters just like any other American president would do, this position the president occupy has nothing to do with his wish or will but rather to do what he is told to merely using his Eloquence and intelligence to accomplish their wish. Therefore there is no doubt in my mind that he chooses not to say anything on how America and the west has intentionally kept Africa behind and poor, and are very keen not to ease it any time soon as it is clearly stated “keep them poor and they will always be loyal.” - Chris
