Players try to restrain Ogwete during the Hima 10s brawlJust who is on trial? Is it the Rugby Union disciplinary committee, or is it the two Kobs players and coach who forced the abandonment of the Hima 10s quarterfinal match against eventual champions Heathens on November 9?

Before the three accused of assaulting referee Collings Mulindwa could face the disciplinary committee, they were called up to join the national team by coaching director David Dobela. These are Fred Mudoola, Victor Wadia and Steven Ogwete.

“I am disappointed by the incident but also worried that I may loose three or five players in the team which is not good for us when we are playing Tunisia in June,” Dobela said.

There is mounting pressure on the URU to differ any punishments until after the World Cup campaign.
