Adaption has to be the basis of survival - but as the world cools and the sun slumbers whilst the governments push the warming agenda we will be ill prepared. We are also children of the tropics and with our modern luxuries many of our natural survival mechanisms are very weak. - twawki

Physics rules: entropy will do in everything and everybody

The universe is expanding; in a number of years the sun will burn out and there wont be life on earth. From the time of the Big Bang selfishness and greed has always rules. Greedy energy fields coalesced into quarcks, which coalesced into atoms, which coalesced into molecules, which coalesced into beings, which coalesced into clans and tribes and kingdoms and empires, against entropy (chaos) which will do in all energy, all particles and everybody. So maybe humans are right to party as long as it lasts. Greed -- for lack of a better word -- is good: that was Michael Doglous said in the movie Wall Street. The cheating climatologists are just as corrupt as politicians or anybody. They too are seeking the glory of fame and fortune, especially so when the stakes for them are so small. - Ocheto

What a horrific excuse for an article. Get a life comes to mind.
* Climatic Research Unit director steps down during probe into allegations he overstated case for global warming.
* Climate Change Scientists Admit Dumping Data.
* Controversy from a collection of e-mails leaked. The e-mails have been confirmed as real and transcripts are available. Global warming advocates acknowledge what they will not concede publicly, that temperature changes haven’t been consistent with their models. - Yolanda

[b]Right on bro. The humans have to go!
Skip the comet hits, volcanoes and natural mass destructions, we humans will kill our poor little helpless 5 billion year old planet that evolved from choas.

Beautiful and Appropriate Article

Excellent article on many levels. I was an advisor to the UK Government who came up with the concept of climate change and Africa being the agenda for the 2005 G8 and the risk assessment that climate change was a greater threat than terrorism which the UKs Chief Scientist Sir David King gave global publicity to.

Unfortunately my original work was distorted by the political process and the original meaning was lost. Ideas which have more in common with what you wrote here, rather than how they were played out on the world stage by the political and corporate elite.

Again superb article. I will post it on the BBC Newsnight site and recommend it as much of what you have written is touching on the sentiments expressed there. Please if you wish get in contact and I will forward the original of the above to show how the original meaning was changed. - Roger Thomas
