A letter asking for an investigation into certain affairs was leaked, so what? Tell Ugandans you are investigating the concerns and be done with it! As it stands all the hullabaloo has led most Ugandans to thinking there was some truth to the General's concerns. The Monitor should go after the Police Officers (in their personal capacities) who commanded this attack if it is found out that they did indeed abuse the warrant the Magistrate gave them. - Kintu

The more we change the more we remain the same! You sometimes wonder whether you are still under OboteII! Can we be told what exactly was in that court order that entitles a police force to cripple business at the whim of the IGP?! Was it open ended to the extent that the police, if they feel like, can get monitor reporters' babies and eat them?! What is so National security about the president's son? - Kintu

Yes however you might be mandated by the constitution to use any reasonable force in enforcing law and order but than what order did you police enforce. those are kicks of a dieing horse. where is the independence of the press in this nation.
God should save my country.
